When Two or More are Gathered
Our purpose during this set of Wednesday night gatherings is to catalog various aspects of what it means to be a Group. During the weeks we will notate certain characteristics we observe as unique to Work of Groups. We will catalog those characteistics. When we have put all the pieces together, we might be able to identify the whole.
We will draw from a number of sources in our investigation. However, our primary source will be the efforts put forth in carrying out the exercises that we, as a Group, decide to perform together.
Here is the assignment that emerged out of week #1:
Read the first 10 pages of the Volume “Work of Groups” – as you perform your reading task, notate what is happening around you and in you. But, the viewpoint is to operate as a reporter for the Group. You are gathering information that the other members of the Group might need. Report back to the Group. (This is not an exercise in what happened to you… but you are a scientist collecting data – we will summarize the data in Class.)
