The Sacrifice of Self-Pity – Life of Benevolence
This Sacrifice opens with EJ Gold saying the following:
“Until one is actually able to help others, one cannot hope to attain Real Benevolence.”
Not one word is mentioned in the description about Self-Pity or its abandonment. What then is this all about? We study the prospect of benevolence. The art of helping another.
Before we are able to perform such an act we must be “able” to help another. We must have the ability to give real help. This poses a number of issues, what is real help? And what must one do to exhibit the ability to help?
Thus, gentle readers, I leave those questions to you. What would constitute real help? What tells you that one has the ability to truly help? Have you been able to exhibit Benevolence?
